United Nations backed Better Than Cash Alliance and Ripple?

There have been some rumors about UN and Ripple. My personal opinion on this is a possible partnership between Ripple and betterthancash.org.

The Better Than Cash Alliance is an UN backed partnership of governments, companies, and international organizations that accelerates the transition from cash to digital payments in order to reduce poverty and drive inclusive growth. More than 2 billion people in the world are still unable to participate in the formal financial system. (info from website)

The Alliance has about 60 members. The full list is available here: https://www.betterthancash.org/members You find there names like Gap, Coca-Cola, H&M, Unilever, Mastercard, Visa and many more including many Goverments.

The official link between this Alliance and Ripple already lies back in 2015 where they participate in a Forum on the G20 meeting in Turkey.
